The Northwest School is a place where students in grades 6-12 learn think critically, act compassionately and discover their place in the world. I worked with the team at Turnstyle Design to tell this incredible school’s story through a new website and various outreach pieces.

Alaska Airlines clearly enjoys what they do—whether they’re carrying passengers or just-caught Alaskan seafood. As a long-term freelancer at Wong Doody, I helped create print and broadcast that supported Alaska’s emphasis on heritage and humor.

During the 2008 financial crisis, Coastal Community bankers sat with their small business clients—sometimes through the night—helping them figure out how to survive. That kind of grit and commitment has made Coastal the fastest-growing community bank on the west coast. Working with Y Cross Branding, I help create materials that communicate Coastal’s customer-first, never-quit attitude.

David Smith Furniture was about a lot more than gorgeous tables and chairs. It was about the Javanese villages these special pieces came from, and the incredible artisans who made them. If you ever had the chance to walk through David Smith’s retail space, you know the experience of being transported to another world. It was magic. I worked with KB Design to create materials that were just as immersive.
These organizations do amazing work. I invite you to learn about and support them, too.
Multiple Sclerosis Society, Gala Invitation
Agency: DNA
Multiple Sclerosis is more prevalent in the Pacific Northwest than almost anywhere else on earth, which is why research and services to help people affected by MS is so important. For several years, I had the honor of working with DNA on the invitation to the Northwest Chapter’s annual gala, its largest fundraiser.
Northwest Children’s Fund, Brochure
Agency: Turnstyle
When you make a donation to Northwest Children’s Fund, 100% goes directly to agencies working to end the cycle of child abuse and neglect. It was my pleasure to work with Jane Davis Consulting and Turnstyle Design to refresh the organization’s brand and create outreach materials that clarified their important mission.

The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is a nation-wide walk that raises money for breast cancer research and patient support. The ‘Avon 39’ campaign was a new approach, challenging walkers to accomplish something big—walking 39 miles in 2 days. The message seemed to resonate, as more walkers registered that year than ever before.

Human stories at the heart of advanced care
MultiCare is one of the largest community-based health systems in the Pacific Northwest, offering a full continuum of care through hospitals, clinics and specialty centers. Working with the agency team, I helped concept and script spots that highlight MultiCare’s depth of expertise and its deeply human approach to medicine—capturing moments of care and connection across the system.
Campaign concept + scripting
Developed creative concepts and scripts that highlighted Multicare’s breadth of care and unique specialties.
Human-centered storytelling
Balanced clinical expertise with narratives that conveyed warmth, compassion, and trust.
Distinct positioning
Reinforced Multicare’s role as both the largest system in the state and the provider of rare, specialized services.
Multi-channel potential
Created TV spots that could also flex into digital and other outreach tools.
Draper’s & Damon’s
Driving growth through clear storytelling and close team collaboration
Draper’s & Damons is a heritage fashion brand serving women 60+. The team wanted to keep longtime shoppers engaged while bringing in a new generation of customers. Working closely with merchants and the creative director, I helped shape campaign messaging and product copy for key seasonal launches—helping each sub-brand stand out and perform across digital channels.
What mattered to the client—and what we delivered:
Smart, product-led messaging
Partnered with merchants to position high-potential sub-brands and strengthen their role in seasonal campaigns.
Distinct voices for every collection
Partnered with the creative director to build verbal identities that made each sub-brand feel fresh but connected.
Relevance that keeps customers coming back
Helped the brand stay true to its loyal base while sparking interest among new shoppers through modern stories and style updates.
